Someone with Bad Headache

Introduction

For headache suffers who seem to be taking so many pills just to function. I am no doctor! I just had a friend tell me about what she did to get rid of her headaches. She swore that using oxygen got her instant relief.

Most people don't get headaches on a regular bases but if you do you will do almost anything to stop the pain.

Most doctors do not know that oxygen will get rid of headaches so they prescribe pills. The problem with pills they either tear your stomach up or you become addicted.

My friend went to her doctor he prescribed a small bottle of Oxygen for her to use if she started getting a headache.

She said she would breathe in the oxygen a couple of times for a minute or so and her headache would be gone.

Most doctors never heard of using oxygen so it might take some convincing your doctor to write a prescription for oxygen.

Until You Can See Your Doctor: You can get headache pain relief by applying pressure to pressure points. You can press as hard as you can in the palm of your hand between your thumb and index finger.

You can also massage your temples and neck or ask someone else to massage your temples and neck. If nothing else it will take the edge off the pain.

Use a Hot and Cold Compress: Put the compress on your forehead and eyes than relax.

Peppermint Oil: Rub your forehead or places you feel the pain. Massage the peppermint oil in the areas where you are feeling pain.

Lay Down and Close Eyes: Sometimes when you get a headache it is due to eye strain or your eyes being sensitive to light.
